Erekani plans to host intergenerational outings and gatherings that bring people together through nature, culture, and stewardship. These gatherings are designed for people of different ages, backgrounds, cultures, and languages to spend time together, build relationships, share knowledge, and connect with the places we call home. Some gatherings might take us outdoors in our neighborhoods to walk, notice birds, or care for a local place. Others might take us into the backcountry to learn about stewardship practices.

We believe learning across generations and cultures is powerful. Everyone has something to teach, contribute, and discover.

Everyone is welcome.

Bring your kids, your parents, a friend, or come on your own. Gatherings may be multicultural or bilingual, and we aim to create spaces that welcome and value different cultures, traditions, experiences, and ways of knowing.

What we’re exploring

Our gatherings are still growing and taking shape. We are experimenting with experiences centered around:

Connection — spending meaningful time with one another and the natural world.

Care — nurturing and stewarding relationships with wildlife, place, and community.

Contribution — finding simple ways to learn, share, create, or care for the places we inhabit.

Upcoming Events

We’re dreaming up our next gatherings. There are no upcoming events at this time, but more opportunities to spend time together are on the way.

Check back soon to see what’s taking shape!
