Regenerative Leadership

At Erekani, we see leadership as a living practice rooted in nature’s patterns, cultural belonging, and reciprocity. Regenerative leadership moves beyond control and efficiency to embrace interdependence, wholeness, and long-term wellbeing for people and the Earth.

Our approach blends experience from global conservation and leadership strategies using participatory facilitation, systems change, and biomimicry with liberatory design, storytelling, and deep listening. Cultivating belonging, resilience, and systemic transformation. This style of leadership is adaptive and inclusive, nurturing environments where creativity, justice, and thriving communities can flourish.

Our services include:

  • Leadership & Strategic Support – Individual and group support grounded in reflection, resilience, and reconnection, framed through a global conservation leadership lens that connects local action to international movements for biodiversity, climate resilience, and equity.
  • Facilitation & Training – immersive workshops on decolonial dialogues, systems change, emergent leadership, liberatory design, and environmental justice.
  • Engagement & Empowerment – strategies to build authentic relationships, center community voices, and co-create people-centered solutions using systems change and global conservation strategies.

Outdoor Stewardship & Adventure

We believe outdoor experiences are a pathway to belonging, courage, and reciprocity with the natural world. Our adventure and stewardship programs create opportunities for people to connect and learn from nature, regardless of prior experience or access.

We guide outdoor journeys that foster stewardship, resilience, and joy in the outdoors, especially for those who face barriers to access. Rooted in regenerative tourism, our adventures also give back, serving as a philanthropic mechanism that supports local communities and strengthens human–nature relationships.

Our services include

  • Stewardship Opportunities – creating inclusive opportunities for people of all backgrounds to steward and learn from the land and ecosystem.
  • Guided Adventures – outdoor trips designed to nurture courage, wellbeing, and connection to place.
  • Regenerative Tourism – trips that not only inspire participants but also generate direct benefits for our local communities.

Health & Wellbeing

We recognize nature as a powerful partner in healing and wellbeing. Drawing on the principles of occupational therapy, we design programs that help youth and communities cultivate balance, resilience, and connection—regardless of ability or background.

Our approach integrates purposeful activity, reflection, and play with time outdoors, supporting growth in physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. By centering accessibility and inclusion, we create spaces where young people can build confidence, strengthen relationships, and develop lifelong practices of self-care and connection to place.

Our services include:

  • Nature-Based OT Programs – using therapeutic activities outdoors to enhance resilience, focus, and overall wellbeing.
  • Youth-Centered Experiences – programs designed to nurture confidence, social connection, and emotional health.
  • Inclusive Design – ensuring accessibility and meaningful participation for people of all abilities.
